Topic: Useful Tools

Hey guys, I thought it would be a good idea to have a post about useful tools for local lead gen like Google Voice, phone call conversion tracking, etc.

I'll start it off with this one. I've been using this pretty cool free tool lately (www.adtestmagic.com) that does split testing of ads in AdWords for you automatically. Saves me a ton of time because I have 17 PPC client campaigns and each one has close to 100 ad groups. Split testing ads in them manually was a nightmare. They're in beta and not letting new people in right now, but if anyone's interested they sent me a few invitation codes. Just send me a private message and if I still have any left I'll send one to you.

Re: Useful Tools

Is Ad Test Magic kind of like http://winneralert.com where it tells you when to re-write the ad?  I have been thinking of signing up for WinnerAlert for some time now as I have great things about it.

Yes, AdTestMagic.com is similar to WinnerAlert.com - the difference is it's free. WinnerAlert.com costs money but has more features right now (although it says here http://adtestmagic.com/?p=about_us that they're going to be adding more features soon).

Re: Useful Tools

Anyone using just plain-old Google Website Optimizer (http://www.google.com/websiteoptimizer) for split test.  It's free too.
