Topic: Slow starts an issue?

I have been mapping out a few things. One concern I have is that the clients will expect immediate results. My PPC skills are not the best and so I am sure it will take me a while to create volume. I see this as an issue with the more seasonal businesses like heating and cooling and yard services, etc.

What's the overall take on this? What's the best strategy to still meet the expectations of a client?

Re: Slow starts an issue?

See if you can find someone in your family, or circle of friends to start sending leads to. However, the client should understand that it can take time to get things rolling, work out kinks, and optimize advertising campaigns.

Just set the expectation that it takes a while to ramp up volume.  Although that is not always the case. Sometimes with Facebook campaigns you can get a lot of volume right off the bat.  So I guess it depends on your traffic sources.

Tell them leads will start coming in on April 30th and actually start the campaign April 25th.
